Chemotherapy, or "Chemo", is a form of therapy which consists of using chemotherapy drugs to attempt to treat cancer patients. Chemotherapy drugs are used to stop or slow the growth of cancer cells and they are often very hazardous chemicals. Chemotherapy is considered a systemic therapy, meaning it may affect your entire body if exposed.
At Central Medicare, we recognise the risks and hazards relating to chemotherapy drugs and it's exposure. Working with accredited laboratories, we have coordinated testing as per ASTM D6978, with an extensive list of tested drugs on some of our thinnest nitrile medical examination gloves.
Some ranges of our medical gloves have also been cleared for the US Market as "chemo gloves" (Product Code LZC) by obtaining 510(k) premarket notification clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration.
