MALAYSIANS FROM WUHAN
ARRIVE AT KLIA
Malaysia flight AK8264 departed from KLIA2 for Wuhan at 3.50 pm on Feb 03, 2020 and arrived at Wuhan Tienhi International Airport at 9.10 pm. The aircraft was carrying 500,000 pairs of gloves to China as a gesture of the Malaysian Government in an effort to contain the 2019-nCoV outbreak. This special flight returned from Wuhan at 1.26 am and landed at KLIA at 5.57 am on Feb 04, 2020. The flight brought home 107 Malaysians and non-citizen family members as well as 12 crewmembers, 8 humanitarian assistance and disaster relief mission personnel and 6 officers from the Malaysian embassy in Beijing. Health screening at the air disaster unit at KLIA was conducted upon arrival. Affected personnel will immediately be sent to the hospital while others would be taken to a monitoring centre.
